Safety Grants: Eliminate Ergonomic Risks with BWC's Safety Grants Program
Presentation by Jennifer Lingafelter & Brian Chambers, Ergonomics, Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation
Approximately 30% of all injuries are due to sprains and cumulative trauma disorders. Learn what the hazards are and see examples of how businesses have eliminated and reduced those risks while improving production and quality. Pictures of actual interventions will be shown from industry, construction, health care and municipalities. Ms. Lingafelter will discuss how 2:1 matching grant funds are available up to $40,000 if the applicants meet the eligibility requirements.
